* Lower Antelope customers must be on site half an hour in advance, exchange tickets with staffs on site. If late, no refund will be made.
* You must stay with your tour guide at all times for your safety.
* If your child cannot walk during the tour. It is required that you carry your child in a front chest carrier or a back pack carrier.
* Ladders: There are steel ladders anchored into the canyon walls. The ladders vary from 3 ft. to 25 ft. being the longest. Ladders over 8 ft. have handrails in place. The canyon is easily accessible going in and out. There are escape rope ladders placed on top of the canyon, in metal boxes, for any type of emergency.
* Health Concerns: The canyon trail is a bit rigorous and long, with low-hanging rocks, narrow passageways, and narrow and steep ladders. It is recommended that if you get short-winded (we are above 4,000 elevation, so please be advised for shortness of breath for those that live at sea level), have knee or hip joint problems, or have heart problems that you advise your physician before trying to hike the canyon.
* No pets or animals are allowed into the canyon: We are sorry for this inconvenience, but to respect our guests that are allergic to dogs, cats, and other animals, we request you do not bring your pets and/or animals into the canyon. We abide by strict rules and regulations to protect and preserve the canyon.
* The speed at which people move through the canyon is outside of our control. If planning another activity following this tour, please leave an extra 1-2 hours after this tour during peak times.
TIME and TIME ZONE
We follow Arizona Standard Time (MST). We share the same time as the City of Page, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, and Phoenix. During Daylight Savings guests will experience a time change driving through the state of Utah and the Navajo Reservation. (Summer time: Same time as Pacific Time; Winter time Same time as Mountain Time. - No Daylight Saving Time - Not Utah Time - Not Navajo Nation Time). Because the Utah State Line is less than 7 miles away, cell phone towers from Utah (and the surrounding Navajo Nation) often will be the wrong time! Do yourself a favor and do like the locals do: Manually set your cell phone to PHOENIX, AZ time.
